  12. If you've played Gravity Force, Turboraketti or any other thrust/gravity
  13. game then you know what The ROKETZ is. For those, who have never heard of such 
  14. games: The ROKETZ is the best frustration buster ever made. Race the track
  15. in your customized Roket (multiple different engines, weapons and special powers)
  16. or fight your buddy in a fierce space battle. Also a CPU player option is included
  17. for all the loners out there.

  19. The ROKETZ PD (PD stands for Public Domain or Playable Demo, whatever) features:
  20.  
  21. - Fully ray-traced ingame GFX (256 shapes per fighter for example)
  22. - Extremely atmospheric music and ingame sounds
  23. - Realistic playing environment
  24. - 2 player configurable ships (4 in full version)
  25. - Dozens of deadly weapons and useful special powers (much more in full version)
  26. - Statistics, that cover everything
  27. - 2 taxing levels (6 in full version)
  28. - One (against cyber CPU player) or simultaneous two player split screen action
  29. - Takes advantage of fast memory
  30. - Fully HD installable
  31. - User configurable keys / joystick

  33. If you have older PD version than 2.0 then here's list of what's the 
  34. difference between 1.x and 2.25:
  35.  
  36. * Should not crash (i.e. AGAIN many lame bugs fixed)
  37. * Improved gameplay
  38. * CPU player's AI upgraded
  39. * Eats a bit less memory - so it should work with large HD no fastmem combo
  40.   (best is still to boot without startup-sequence to gain free mem)
  41. * Sounds should be ok on every machine now (even on 40 MHz MC040)
  42. * Keyboard controls should work fine now
  43. * You can quit back to Workbech pressing Ctrl+Escape in main menu
  44. * Loads a bit faster
  45. * HD installer included
  46. * User selectable control method (keyboard, joy)
  47. * Works on CD32 (keyboard/memory problems fixed)
